Only quality fabrics from Zweigart are used to produce these hand-dyed beauties. Textile industry dyes are used meaning soft, washable, colorfast and permanent. As with any hand dyed product slight variations in pattern and color will occur between dye lots. If you are planning on stitching companion pieces we recommend purchasing all fabric at the same time. All pieces are serged, labeled and packaged individually. Like all dyed fabrics some bleeding may occur when washed, most likely in dark colors. All colors are available in Aida, Linen, Evenweaves, Tula, and Crystal in a variety of counts. Each fabric type takes the dye differently. Generally, linens provide a more dramatic effect, evenweaves are more subtle and aidas or tulas can go either way. Therefore, each fabric color and type is pictured as accurately as possible. When you pull up the large sample there is a comparison number (usually!) to DMC or Caron.
